William Ernest Brumbley of Oxford

William "Bill" Ernest
Brumbley, 50, of Oxford, died Tuesday, March 8, at Jennersville Regional
Hospital. He was the husband of Michele L. Gans Brumbley with whom he shared 22
years of marriage.

Bill was born Nov. 6, 1960 in
Wilmington and grew up on a small farm in Nottingham. He graduated from Oxford
Area High School in 1978. He had been employed as a painter by Chadds Ford
Painting, Inc. for many years.

Bill was an avid fan of all
Philadelphia sports teams, and enjoyed gardening, his dogs and spending time
with his family. He is survived by his wife; one son, Joseph Brumbley of
Oxford; parents, Virginia Brumbley of Oxford and W. Ralph Brumbley of Milford,
Del.; three brothers, E. Ralph Brumbley of Oxford, J. Thomas Brumbley of
Redmond, Ore. and David Brumbley of Newport Beach, Calif.; five nieces, Sarah,
Danielle, Nicole and Meghan Brumbley of Oxford and Anna Brumbley of Redmond,
Ore., as well as numerous cousins.

Funeral services was held at 2
p.m. on Saturday March 12, at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86
Pine St., Oxford.
