Ernest Maraldo of Kennett Square

Ernest Maraldo, 97, of Kennett Square, died Friday, Feb. 25 at
the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Helen Antonini
Maraldo, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

Born in 1913, in Cavasso Nuovo Italy, Ernest came to the
United States with his mother and sister in 1920. During World War II, he
worked at the Dravo Navy Yard in Wilmington, making ships for the US Naval
Fleet.

Ernest was in the mushroom farming business for forty years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pietro and Dierce, and his
sister Fannie, he is survived by his two daughters, Pamela Maraldo, Donna and
her husband Lou Scarborough, his brother, Peter, and many nieces and nephews.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends at the
Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 State Street, Kennett Square from 10 a.m.-noon
on Wednesday, March 2. His funeral service will follow at. Burial will be
in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kennett Square
