Thursa Yates DelNero Kennett Square

Thursa Yates
DelNero, 97, of Kennett Square, died Monday, Jan. 10 at Harrison Senior Living
in Christiana. She was the wife of the late Rocco M. DelNero who passed away in
1991 and with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Matney N.C.,
she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Presnell Yates.

She was the owner
and operator of the former Avon Grove Sub Shop for many years.

A member of the
Avondale United Methodist Church, she enjoyed needle work but was especially
known for her kind and loving manner and for always helping others.

Survivors include
two sons, Joseph DelNero and his wife Josephine of West Chester; and Michael
DelNero of Schwenksville; two daughters, Dolores Rowe and her husband Leon of
Kennett Square and Theresa March and her husband Paul of Cary N.C.; and six grandchildren
and three great grandchildren

A funeral service
will be held a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home
Inc. (610-869-2685) 200 Rose Hill Rd. West Grove. Friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. before the
service. Interment will be in Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery in West Chester. Contributions
may be made to the Avondale United Methodist Church P.O. Box 114, Avondale, PA
19311 or to the Life Choice, Montgomery Corporate Center, 200 Dryden Road,
Suite 3300, Dresher, PA 19025.
