years of marriage.

in Odd, W.Va., she wasthe
daughter of the late Charles and Viola
Logan
Wallace.

She
graduated from Stocco
HighSchoolin
Odd,W.Va.,
in1942. When she was
19,she
movedwith
hersister
Zella to Chester
Countytofind
ajob.She
worked
fortheNational
CompanyinElkton,
Md.,making
explosivesfor
military
gunshellsduring
World
War II.
Shealso
labored as a"burner,
"making landing barges
forthe
military forthe
Dravo Corp.
inWilmington.In
1970, she went towork
asasecretary
for her
husband,
thenDistrict Justice
ofNew Garden Township.
Sheretired
in 1984.

Beloved
as"Granny"to
relatives and friendsalike,
she enjoyed playing cards,
baking
and cooking,
reading,
bowling,knitting
afghans, walking
and swimming.

She is survived
by two sons,James
Frederick
DiFilippo
and his wife

Judith
ofAston,
and EugeneJoseph DiFilippo
IIIand his
wife Debra of Kennett Square,
a daughter
Linda
Eugenia Lauch
ofBellevue,
Ky.;10 grandchildren;
and 15 great grandchildren;
two half-sisters
Brenda Roarkof
CoalCity, W.Va.,
and Delma Byrdof Clinton,
Tenn.;a half-brother
Charles
Wallace of Alta Monte Springs,
Fla.;a stepsister
Molly Shrewsberry
ofGhent, W.Va.;
two stepbrothers Jake Meadowsof
Odd, W.Va.amd Bill Jewel of Herndon, W Va.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Edward, Clifford,
Frederick, Lon, Elmer, George and Clayton Wallace; two sisters, Lora Loturco
and Zella Baldwin; one half-sister Rachel Hylton and
two stepbrothers, Joe Reedy and Alvin Jewel.

Granny, your twinkling eyes and sweet smile will remain in our
hearts forever.

Family and friends
are invited to visit with her family and friends from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.on
Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin
Mary Church, 300 State Road,West
Grove.Her
funeral Mass will follow at10:30 a.m.
Burial
will bein
St. Patrick's Cemetery,
Kennett Square.
