Richard Orville Mayo Sr. of West Grove

Richard
Orville Mayo Sr., 75, of West Grove,died Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Thomas Jefferson
University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Roslyn Hilton Mayo,
with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Kennett Square, he was the
son of the late Roy, Sr. and Ruth Jackson Mayo.

He worked for Seneca Foods in Kennett
Square for 46 years, retiring in 1998 aspresident.

Mr. Mayo was a member of the Birdie
Club and the Pennsylvania Food Processors Association.

He played for the Kennett Clippers and
the Grey Socks.

Mr. Mayo enjoyed playing golf,
baseball, watching old western movies and was a Penn State football fan.

In addition to his wife, he is
survived by three sons, Brian
Mayo of Exton, Gregory Mayo of West Chester, and Marc Mayo
of Jersey City, NJ, five grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three
brothers and two sisters.

He was predeceased by one son,
Richard O. Mayo Jr.

family and friends from 10to
11 a.m. on
Friday morning, Oct.
22, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square(Phone:610-444-4116). His Memorial service
will follow at 11:00. Burial will be private.
