Wilson Hamilton “Tiny”Michael, 74,
of Avondale, died Saturday, Sept. 18.
He was the husband of Melissa Combs Michael, with whom he shared 56
years of marriage.
Born in Creston NC, he was a son of the late
John Henry and Maggie (Tari) Michael.
Wilson worked for NVF Company in Yorklyn Del,
retiring in 2000. He was an
avid hunter, fisherman, and loved reading.
Survivors include in addition to his wife,
two sons, John D. Michael of Smyrna Del., and Jeffrey H. Michael and his wife
Kathy of North East Md., four grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremiah, Stephanie, and
Nicholas, and three great grandchildren, Elijah, Joshua Jr, and Kiersten. He was pre deceased by a daughter
Debra Kay in 1984.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday,
Sept. 22 at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-869-2685) 200 Rose
Hill Road in West Grove. Family
and friends may visit with the family from 9-11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Union Hill
Cemetery in Kennett Square.
