Nicholas C.
Melchior, III, 59, of Kennett Square, died unexpectedly at the Hospital of the
University of Pennsylvania on Sept. 2. He was a graduate of Saint Patrick’s
Elementary in 1965 and Kennett High School in 1969.
He was employed
with Phillips Mushroom Farms.
He was the son of
Nicholas C. Melchior Junior of Kennett Square and the late Elizabeth Raytik
Melchior of Coatesville.
He is survived
by his father, a brother Dennis Melchior of Kennett Square, a sister and
brother in law Linda and Danny Harpe and two nieces Michelle and Elizabeth
Harpe of Landenberg.
He is also
survived by his aunt and uncle Eugene and Juliene Melchior of Pike Creek, Del.,
and their two sons. Gene and his wife Lorie Melchior of Charlotte, NC, and
their two sons. John and his wife Diane Melchior of Kennett and their two
daughters and son. He is also survived by aunt and uncle Rose and Joseph Raytik
of Coatesville and their daughter and two sons.
You are invited to
visit with his family and friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday morning,
September 9, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street,
Kennett Square. His memorial service will follow at noon
Burial will be
private.
In lieu of
flowers, a contribution may be made to St. Patrick Church, Building Fund,
205 Lafayette Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
