Oscar “Okie” Gabriel Regalado of Kennett Square

Oscar “Okie” Gabriel Regalado, 19, of Kennett Square,died Friday Aug. 13at Crozer
Chester Medical Center.

Oscar was the son of Oscar Regalado
Hernandez and Ileana Acosta Regalado and the loving and caring brother of
Rebecca and Laura Regalado of Kennett Square.

Oscar was a 2009 graduate of
Unionville High School and was attending The Delaware College of Art and
Design.

He was an inspiring illustrator and
artist, enjoying the stage and working on various plays while he was in high School.
Oscar was the recipient of the 2008 Cappie Award for set design for the Greater
Philadelphia Region. Besides his love of the arts he enjoyed the company of his
friends and family.

In addition to his parents Oscar is survived by his maternal grandmother
Cecilia Acosta of Landenberg,and
his paternal grandmother Maria Belen Hernandez of
Angostura, Sinaloa, Mexico,

Julio Acosta Jr. of Atglen, Pilar Lina Jimenez of West Chester, Alicia Collazo
of Landenberg, Adalina Acosta Diaz of Kennett Square, William Acosta of
Strasburg, Laura Spritzer of Albuquerque, NM, Saul Regalado of Guadalajara,Mexico, Maria Castro,
Reina Flores, Lydia Jimenez, Ophelia Gonzalez, Elizar Regalado, Eva Regalado,
Arturo Regalado, Guzmaro Regalado all of Sinaloa,Mexico and many
cousins.

Oscar was preceded in death by hismaternalgrandfather Julio Acosta and hispaternalgrandfather Valentin Regalado Regalado
and his Aunt Evelyn F. Acosta.

Family and Friends are invited to
visit with his family from 10
a.m. tonoon on
Thursday, Aug.
19, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home at 250 W. State Street, Kennett
Square. His funeral service will follow atnoon. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery,
Kennett Square.
