Betty Lou Talamonti, 63, of Kennett Square, died at her
residence on Friday, May 28, after a battle with ALS. She was the wife of Tony
Talamonti, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Fort Benning, Ga., she was the daughter of Betty
Buffington Harkins of Kennett Square and the late George R. Harkins, Jr.

Betty Lou was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church
in Hockessin, and a lifetime member of the Kennett Fire Company, No 1.

She enjoyed travelling, especially her cruises on the Queen
Mary and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband and mother, Betty Lou is survived
by one son, Joseph Talamonti and his wife Kim of Cochranville; three daughters,
Pam Talamonti of Kennett Square, Angie Kavanaugh and her husband Bill of
Kennett Square, and Donna Schuibbeo and her husband Eric of Kennett Square;
three sisters, Sharon E. Chambers of Kennett Square, Marlene A. Taylor of
Cochranville and Faith M. Guizzetti of Landenberg; eleven grandchildren, Amanda,
Sarah, Emily, Olivia, Michael, Jessica, Nick, Aly, Jenny, Anthony and Matthew;
two great-grandchildren, Abby and Lexi, and her beloved dogs, Bailey and Bella.

She was predeceased by one brother, Bobby Harkins.

Your are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9
to 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200
Lancaster Pike, Hockessin. Her Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.. Burial
will be private.

MDA/ALS Center of Hope, 219 N. Broad Street, 7th Floor,
Philadelphia, PA 19107.
