George B.
Biester Jr, 86 of Chadds Ford, died March 9, at Neighborhood Hospice
in West Chester. He was the devoted husband of Winifred Austin Biester, with
whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of
the late George B. Biester, Sr. and Martha Lee Morris Biester.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy
during World War II.

Mr. Biester was a calibration
technician for 41 years at Boeing in Chester, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of the Concordville Masonic
Lodge and the Nur Temple, New Castle.

 Mr. Biester was a pilot and member of
the Civil Air Patrol. He also enjoyed sailing and many other hobbies.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived
by two daughters, Jean Albert (Thomas) of Kennett Square, and Pamela Lane
(Jack) of Chadds Ford; and by four grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with Mr.
Biester’s family and friends on Friday, March 12, from 10 am to noon at the
Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square.
His funeral service will follow at noon. Interment will be in Edgewood Memorial
Park.
