Bernard J. McDonough, 50, of Kennett Square, died Monday, July 13.
Born in Wilmington, he was the son of Beverly Gentry McDonough of Kennett Square, and the late Bernard J. McDonough, Sr.
Bernie was a member of Assumption BVM, in West Grove. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag racing. He also enjoyed listening to music. He was a motor cross racer in his younger years.
In addition to his mother, Bernie is survived by two grandchildren, Peter and Linda Schiavo.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Melinda McDonough, and one sister, Sharon McDonough.
Services and burial will be held privately.
