Jan David Cressman, age 55 of Landenberg, died on June 28 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester. He was the husband of Mary Ryan Cressman, with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.
Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of Paul L. Cressman and Thelma M. Hickey Cressman of Camp Hill.
Jan was a carpenter with Pennland Contractors for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, skiing, and woodworking.
Jan had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. He will be remembered by his great sense of humor.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, James (Jimmy) and two daughters, Diane and Heather, all at home. He is also survived by a brother Jim and his wife Lois of Woodbury, N.J.
Jan will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

State St., Kennett Square, and then again on Friday, July 3, at the Kembleville United Methodist Church, Rt. 896 and Peacedale Rd., Kemblesville. His funeral service will follow at 11 am.
