Trail Creek Outfitters’ 17th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival returns to Chester County and to an indoor venue on March 7th. The film festival will take place Thursday, March 7th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the barn at Upland Country Day School in Kennett Square, PA. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for light refreshments and the 90-minute film program will begin at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy an array of environmental short films, raffle entrees, and complimentary food and drink. Festival passes are available at $45 for one ticket, and $80 for a two-ticket deal.

With each film’s captivating story and beautiful cinematography, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival aims to enlighten, encourage, and equip viewers to bring restoration and a hopeful future to Earth, human communities, and the next generation. This year’s selection features films from environmentally conscious outdoor companies and independent filmmakers from all over the world.

In July of 2023, brothers Brett and Kyle Havertine purchased Trail Creek Outfitters from Ed Camelli and their mother, Joanne Havertine.

Kyle Havertine, co-owner, Trail Creek Outfitters, said:  “We are honored to continue the longstanding tradition of Trail Creek Outfitters giving back to our local community. Trail Creek takes great pride in outfitting all your adventures and wherever life takes you. While you might summit a mountain or ski the Alps, we believe that your backyard adventures can be some of the most meaningful. That is why we have partnered with Stroud Water Research Center and the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance to support water quality, land preservation, and environmental education. We are so passionate about giving back to our community and supporting our local environment; when they thrive, we thrive.”
