Brandywine River Museum is Alive with Music This Fall

Jazz, classical, funk, classic soul and be-bop-hear it all!

Chadds Ford, PA August 16, 2013 --  The Brandywine River Museum's exciting Music on the Brandywine concert series expands this fall to include jazz, classical music, be-bop, funk and classic soul. All performances take place in the museum's glass-walled lobby, which Astral Artists'* founder Vera Wilson has called an "acoustically rewarding space."

Delight in the music of harpist Caroline Cole. A graduate of the Julliard School, she has been a featured performer at prestigious harp events throughout the United States and Canada. Her first film recording, the Sedona soundtrack, received the Film Score of the Year Award from the Phoenix Music Awards in 2011.

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.; galleries will be open 6 - 9 p.m. Admission is $25, $20 for members. Full bar and small plate offerings will be available for purchase. Tickets are

The Brandywine River Museum, located on U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, is open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for seniors ages 65 and over, $6 for children ages 6 and older and free for children 5 and younger and Brandywine Conservancy members.
