Media barracks

State police from Media barracks are investigating a theft of services case on Oct. 9. A report said several suspects consumed $200 worth of food and drink at Buffalo Wild Wings, but left without paying.

Avondale Barracks

Police reported an Oct. 28 hit-and-run accident in Pocopson Township. They said two vehicles were westbound on W. Street Road approaching Pocopson Road. One vehicle slowed down but was struck from behind. The faulty driver reversed, drove around the vehicle he had just hit and drove away. No injuries were reported.

A 26-year-old man from Brookhaven was arrested and charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Village Drive in East Marlborough Township on Nov. 1 at 1:56 a.m. The driver was not named in the report, and no reason for the stop was given. Police said there was a strong odor of alcohol when they contacted the driver and that field sobriety checks indicated impairment.

Kennett Square Police Department

Charges of simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct were filed against a juvenile following a physical altercation caught on video on Oct. 21 in the 100 block of E. South Street in Kennett Square. The report said the video shows one male juvenile striking the other, pushing him to the ground multiple times, and delivering a kick to the victim's face. A juvenile allegation was completed on charges of simple assault and other related offenses and filed with the Chester County Juvenile Probation Office.
