On Thursday, June 9, the Sixth Annual Twisted Vintner® Taste of the Township and Homemade Wine Contest will be held at the Concordville Towne Center, starting at 6 p.m., the Concordville Chadds Ford Rotary Club announced.

Although the event is still anchored by the avocational wine competition, Twisted Vinter will also includes tastings from area vineyards and breweries, food offerings from regional restaurants, a silent auction, a raffle, and live music.

Last year’s event boasted over 500 attendees so this year’s festivities will necessitate a bigger tent, according to a Rotary press release. Admission includes sampling the wines made by local vintners, hors d’oeuvres from 10 area restaurants and seasonal pairings from four area wineries and two breweries.

In addition, the event will include a massive silent auction as well as the coveted wheelbarrow of cheer raffle. The Strangers band will return to encourage attendees not to be strangers to the dance floor.
