Fire marshal gets the axe

Chadds Ford Township has released Mike Daily from his duties as fire marshal. He was removed from the position on June 4. According to Supervisors’ Chairman Frank Murphy, the township is trying to consolidate its code enforcement procedures under one roof, that being Building Inspection Underwriters.
