Idalia Valentin, 71, of Kennett Square, died Thursday, Aug. 28, at Ware Presbyterian Village. Born in Moca, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Aniceto Perez and Francisca Alonso Perez. Red pandas have created a spike in attendance at the Brandywine Zoo. Indigenous to such areas as the Himalayas, the red pands, also known as fire foxes, debuted at the Brandywine Zoo in June.
