First National Bank of Chester County receives Summit Award

First National Bank of Chester County was presented the United Way of Chester County’s Summit Award for Outstanding Employee and Corporate Support at the United Way’s 2008-2009 Campaign Closing Celebration.

The Summit Award recognizes companies that demonstrate the highest level of partnership with United Way. The award is based on the company achieving all five of the following criteria – a vibrant employee campaign, a corporate match or contribution, leadership giving of $1,000 or more, employees engaged in community service and other forms of giving through sponsorships and donations.

Through a successful campaign, generous employee giving and company contribution, First National Bank of Chester County donated $48,500 to the United Way of Chester County in 2008.
